چکیده

This paper formally defines the Ratio Modeling technique as set of steps enabling you to quickly perform low confidence capacity predictions, which are required when budgeting hardware, assessing technical risk, validating alternative technical architecture designs, sizing packaged applications, and predicting production system capacity requirements. This technique enables you to define the relationship between process categories (e.g., batch processes) and a specific system resource (e.g., CPU). The Ratio Modeling technique has been validated by many of the largest Oracle Manufacturing Applications sites, is currently being used by many technical architects, and is being embraced by Hewlett Packard’s Oracle Applications sizing consultants. This papers details step-by-step how you can determine ratio categories, calculate the ratios, make capacity predictions using the ratios, and validate both the ratios and the resulting predictions on your production system. 4 D. Numerical Modeling of the Effect of Geocell Elements’ Dimensions on Behavior of Circular Footings

Use of auxiliary elements in refining and betterment of engineering properties of soil have gained attention since a long time ago. Nowadays the effectiveness and capability of the soil reinforcing technique for giving proper practical solutions in various projects have resulted in this technique quickly gaining a place in geotechnical engineering. In this paper, the results of laboratory studi...

The Behavior of Suction Bucket under Cyclic Loading in Saturated Lands

Numerical modeling was carried out to investigate the responses of suction bucket foundations under vertical cyclic loading. Numerical results were compared with centrifuge experiment results. Before the capacity of the model suction bucket to resist cyclic loading could be investigated, the static pullout capacities had to be determined. The buckets with different aspect ratio are investigated...

Providing a Model for Evaluating Suspicious Bank Accounts with the Approach of Determining Tax Effects Based on Structural Equation Modeling

The main approach of this study is to provide solutions to managers, economists, and tax auditors. To have a clearer perspective of the transactional relationships that distress the taxpayer transaction tax also help them to choose the best strategy to improve tax revenue. In this paper the fuzzy Delphi method was used to identify the indicators affecting suspicious bank accounts. The data coll...

INFLUENCE OF FIBER ASPECT RATIO ON SHEAR CAPACITY OF DEEP BEAMS USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK TECHNIQUE

This paper deals with the effect of fiber aspect ratio of steel fibers on shear strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete deep beams loaded with shear span to depth ratio less than two using the artificial neural network technique. The network model predicts reasonably good results when compared with the equation proposed by previous researchers. The parametric study invol...

Numerical Predictions of Turbulent Mixed Convection Heat Transfer to Supercritical Fluids Using Various Low Reynolds Number k-e Turbulence Models

There are a number of systems in which supercritical cryogenic fluids are used as coolants or propellant fluids. In some modern military aircraft, the fuel is pressurized above its critical point and used as a coolant to remove heat from the aircraft engine. Accurate prediction of heat transfer coefficients to turbulent flows of supercritical fluids is essential in design of such systems. One o...
